Book presentation on Shipibo-Konibo shamanism in Peru
The book examines social and cultural transformations linked to contact between Shipibo-Konibo communities and visitors interested in shamanic practices.

FIELD REFLECTION
Plant dieta as a path of inner transformation
Doriane describes her long-term experience with plant dietas as a gradual process of confronting fears, attachments and recurring patterns. In her account, each new dieta brought periods of questioning and insight, with ayahuasca ceremonies acting as moments in which changes experienced during the dieta became more visible to her.
These reflections are presented as her personal and experiential perspective, alongside her anthropological work on Shipibo-Konibo society and contemporary shamanic practices in Peru.
